Day one, 06:40 hours…
The old truck lurched into the next gear to bring the near-wrecked vehicle over the rise, bringing the fort into view; It dominated the horizon and blocked the rising sun, casting a glowing silhouette over the field. Airborne vehicles and gun-ships patrolled the surrounding area while a horde of clanking-tracked tanks followed suit. Three of the VTOL-Helicopters moved in and scanned the inbound convoy of trucks before moving in as an escort. There were seven trucks in all, mainly fresh troops and supplies being shipped in open-topped vehicles, but the leading vehicle’s canopy was shrouding it’s contents. The soldiers in the other vehicles tried to imagine what could be in the mysterious transport as it wasn’t marked the same as the standard military vehicles, the paint-work was mottled a matt-grey…
As the convoy neared the immense gate their escorts trailed off, leaving the trucks at the mercy of the maw that was the armored-steel door that creaked and moaned as the servo-motors went to work. The shouts over PA systems and mega-phones portrayed a very organized atmosphere, as a major staging-point for the Empire’s war-efforts; Fort Adrian was on alert and call throughout the day and night.
The Supply truck and the transports moved off to the barracks, the ominously-grey trucks pulled into a warehouse-Hangar on the opposing side from the main facility, the buildings around and near the Steel-hangar were marked with bold black letters…

A squeal behind the vehicle announced the sliding doors were closed and they were in privacy from the main facility.
The canopy of the truck was drawn back by soldiers dressed in a similar fashion as the truck’s main color, the site’s logo emblazoned on their uniforms.
Inside the tray, a group of children were herded out and ordered into a line facing four menacing-looking individuals wearing the uniform of the site.
From left to right; A weathered-face that looked as if it had endured the entire war scowled at the children with malicious intent, he emanated raw-power that almost made him glow. Next along, a pre-middle-aged woman with a disfiguring scar that ran down the right side of her face, leaving a sunken-white eye in the socket.
The last two, however, didn’t seem to fit in with the others; they both wore the same uniform but their grey coats were tied around their wastes revealing black tees underneath, the first was a portly man in his latter-years, his gut was overshadowing his trousers and he had the appearance of a heavy drinker. Alongside him stood a beauteously-short young woman who looked in her late teens, she had short black hair and her eyes seemed to wander, not being able to focus on one thing at any given moment.
The oldest man was the first to speak, his tone was of a well-tutored military man who knew nothing but the army in his life, his voice was laced heavily with a Celtic accent, “I am Colonel Joch McIntyre, you may call meh Master McIntyre… I won’t welcome you ‘ere because I know ya’ don’t want to be, ye’ are here however because you are no longer welcomed by your own family or your family did’na’ have what it takes to survive in this day n’ age!”
“Colonel Ashley Alanna Jacobs, but if you call me anything other than Master Ash, I’ll kill you!” the gruff-scarred woman announced politely and simply.
“Colonel Damian Cormack, this is my apprentice, Michelle… Master, Sir or even Mister Cormack is acceptable…” his fellow Colonels glared at him.
Now that they were introduced, the children were herded with further information into the Dormitories and locked in for the day, the trainers would start with them tomorrow…
Every room had accommodations for two students each and being locked in meant that they were to sort themselves out. The room on the end of the corridor belonged to the strange apprentice they saw before, her door was wide open and she was hovering slightly from the ground, deep in meditation…
(I have a big plan for this RP, for now, just meet and greet eachother and get used to the dorms, I’ll post the next hours/days/weeks…)
