A Question About Davy Jones Locker?

Are they different purgatories for each sailor? Because in the leaked script it says that Jack purgatory is being stuck in sand. Now isn't Davy's locker at the bottom of the ocean? Did Jack first go to the bottom of the ocean then somehow he became stuck in sand?

Thats an interesting and good question, that we would probably never know. According to myths, Davy Jones Locker is supposed to be the bottom of the ocean and every sailor that dies on the sea will go there. And I think that Jack didn't went on to DJ locker because he didn't technically died, IMO this sandy place that he is in is some kind of punishment for him.
