onslaught is awfully tough to understand. i think odin could certainly do alone what the heroes did together -- namely shatter his armor. but the "ultimate evolution" of onslaught into that energy form was never really tested so who knows what it could do. i don't think the energy form had frank's power as frank had been freed at that time. so . . . what WAS that energy form capable of?

Onslaught had little if any access to Franklin's supposed CELESTIAL level powers. To be honest I don't think he had much access to Nate's.
Even if he had all of Nate's, and say like 1% of Franklin that is still not enough to beat Odin.
And if making a star is the height of Onslaught's powers, then Odin is far beyond. Odin was destroyong and creating stars in his battle with Forsung, was consuming the whole 616 universe in The Infinity Saga and dead Odin created a solar system, just as examples.

I don't know. In the one fight they had, written by Jim "Thanos will never look bad in my hands" Starlin himself, Odin was manhandling Thanos and looked like he was about to get serious when Adam Warlock saved Thanos.

That's because that Odin was from a long time ago before the current power level. That Odin used to dismiss Galactus from his kingdom like nothing. Now, we know Odin can't stand up to Galactus.

Which is why I said if Onslaught had full access to both Nate AND Franklin's powers, then he could defeat Odin. Without Franklin's power, he more than likely falls.

Odin states that galaxies are being destroyed in his battle with Infinity.
btw, this is not the Abstract Infinity who was a later invention. This is a piece of Odin's mind using the Odinpower to consume the universe. Only Odin was able to stop himself from consuming the whole universe into himself and mindcontrolling the population. He then undid all the damage to countless galaxies and erased almost everyone's memory of the events.
Odin also had a galaxy destroying battle with Seth, somewhere in the 400s, but I don't have those issues.
