I wish I had a grandpa like Gibbs =]

Earlier today I watched the DMC trailer on youtube, just for the fun of it, and it was the extended version with a clip (not even a second long) of the curiosity scene when Elizabeth and Jack are really close, and I remember back when I first saw the trailer on TV, I saw that part and I was just like "whoa wait what?" You know. So confused. I had just recently seen the first movie for the first timeand never even thought of the possibility of J/E. I didn't even think she liked him as a friend lol. Anyway, I was less confused when I saw the movie in the theater. I didn't love sparrabeth until about a month after the second movie. I'm a little slow at growing to love things. Like sparrabeth, as said. And I didn't even think Jack was attractive until the second time I saw the first one.

Also, about the second movie. I belong to a chamber ballet and we had a big performance tonight, and a guy and a girl had a short performance together that reminded me so much of the Jack/Elizabeth relationship on the Pearl in DMC. They were both cats, and he was subtly flirting with her (in this case with some ballet added), and she would push him away and go across the stage and he would go after her, and sometimes they would fight, sometimes she would give in, and but usually it was her disgusted or trying to ignore him, and in the end she gave in.

i loved Jack the first scene i ever saw him in, which was the part where he turns into a skeleton for the 1st time and goes "That's interesting." whenever anyone watched it in my house id always come in at the skeleton parts and it freaked the heck outta me. im very sensitive to scary. but one time i walked in and i saw just that part and i laughe so hard! i loved him then and there, even before i knew who he was.

I've just learned from a french blog that Elizabeth called her and Will's son Jack ! It's so cool, isn't it ? I love this ! Jack Turner !

How did they know his name was JAck?

By the way IBD43 I agree! It wasn't that clip for me. It was the trailer where he said "But you have heard of me" and I was in love.

Sparrabeth happened the same way for me. It was the DMC trailer. The part where Jack goes "........I happen to have no dress in my cabin."
and then Lizzie's lecture "There will come a moment where you'll have the chance....to do the right thing." and then he went "I love those moments! I like to wave at them as they pass by."

That was IT! I was hooked after that...I was like "Wow! Those two should be a blast to watch." This should be even better than COTBP

Yeah I loved the island scene but I was too little at the time. I mean I thought with the island scene that the true coupling of the film was JE but when WE ended up together and my mom explained to me that the island scene wasn't major...I won't say I accepted it but I was ok.

Then I got the DVD and fell in love with JE and with that DMC trailer...I swear it was love at first sight.

I know this is off topic ppl but I just realized...prepare yourself for WE to win best kiss and best couple at the choice awards. Seems like ppl DO find the hot. I'm not bothered by it that much but I just thought of it.

I finally found the one moment that brings tears to my eyes because it's so beautiful and sad. It makes me think about what could've happened. In AWE, right before Elizabeth is going to say goodbye to Will for the last time, right after she says "Thank you, Jack" to Jack. When she walks away from him, the look he gives watching her walk away. Look for it.

I know that is so...sad and sweet. Also aches my heart the way he's looking so sad right before she comes up to him and says goodbye.

My two other favorite "small momets" are when she wants to come to him in the locker but doesn't cause of Will.

and when he draws a pistol at her she makes a face like "Oh you..." like she was really upset but actually she drew a pistol on him first lol
