I love that scene. We get to know both of them so well in that scene. Jack's completely wasted, but he's being more truthful and open than in the whole rest of the movie and Liz is having the time of her life with him. My brother cracks up, though when Jack tells her his crew is going to sing "A Pirate's Life For Me" all the time.
Jack: I'll teach it to me crew, and then we'll sing it all the time!
Liz: And then you will be positively the most feared pirates on the Spanish Main!
My brother just has this image of a crew of pirates singing and everyone covering their eyes, begging them to stop. Immature? Yes. Proof of J/E having a great time together? Yes.
