Iori Yagami VS Kazuya Mishima

So who wins this one.

Consider how both of them are badasses and even have similar life stories (go to the theories in my site and you'll see a link there for this).

I'd say after a really, really tough bout...Kazuya takes it.

I don't know if you'd be interested but on my site if you go to theories there is an article on the similarity between Kazuya and Iori. Might wanna read that since you dig Iori.

I'm a hardcore Tekken fan but I find it hard for Kazuya to beat Iori in his more focused state. If it was Orochi Iori I'd give it to Kazuya eventhough it's a much more dangerous matchup. Brains over muscle I always say, but since this isn't Riot of the Blood Iori I give to Yagami more often than not. It would be a nasty, bloody match though.

Is Kazuya allowed to use Devil powers?

He's fought people with swords (yoshimitsu), people with knives (kunimitsu), he WIPED the floor with the Jack Robots in the Tekken 5 intro as if they were barbie dolls. he broke 7 foot robots in half with ONE PUNCH. Not to mention how a full fledge grizzly bear is the family pet. i don't think claws is a big deal to him.
Also fire beams etc, aint a big thing to since Jin, his son, has beaten the Ogre and Heihachi, his father, has beaten Devil who shoots laser beams. So really....Kazuya is a mean ass son of a bidge.
Of course Iori will put up a GREAT fight and might even beat him but i am saying Kazuya cuz i lean towards him more as the better fighter. Iori tends to lose focus. Plus Kazzy has been doing it for a while...he was black belt by 8.

That was one of the 1st things I looked @ there. It was cool since I knew nothing about Iori's dealings w/his pop. I got mad respect for Kazuya. Used to be my favorite Tekken dude 'til Bryan arrived. I just don't see him beating Iori. I'm not sure about Iori losing focus either. Where does this come from?

I see this as kind of a mis-match. I don't consider any Tekken characters outside of devil and jinpachi to be on par with KOF and SF. Iori is way more powerful than Kazuya. But this isn't just favoring Iori. Terry could beat Kaz, Ryu could, Kyo could, the tekken crew is just outclassed. And I don't even like Kyo that much.
