You know, I consider myself an open-minded person. But, something has come to my attention that has shocked even me. Have you heard about these new grade school books for children they're trying to add to the curriculum, to help children understand the gay lifestyle? One's called Heather's Two Mommies, and the other is called Daddy's New Roommate.

Most girls/women/ladies I know, don’t mind neither gays nor lesbians, and many of my female friends enjoy watching gay porn as much as men enjoy watching lesbian porn. (What would happen, I wonder, if porn with two girls was labelled “homosexual pornography?? 😄 ).

Hmmm… Should I venture a guess as to why gays seem to be less accepted by straight men than lesbians, I think we should look at society. It keeps telling us that men only have sex on their minds (although, to quote Nicole Kidman in Eyes Wide Shut “If you only knew…”), the media shows us male rapists and films depict males raping males in prisons.
So I guess straight men are simply afraid of gays…

Homophobic men are usually more afraid of being mistaken for being a homosexual, not necessarily are they afraid of homosexual men.

Insecurity plays the most common role in one's prejudice, especially in a prejudice as rediculous as homophobia.
