not to pick at knits but the land mass lifting thing, was like vol.2 of byrne's run..so that one is actually post crisis..in fact that land mass actually evolved sentient life and theatend earth again and it took about 3 lanterns including hal to tackle it and they didnt win over until superman lent them some of his will power.....which they used to terraform it and devolve the life it spawned, and sent it off safley to space. and the last two scans with the psychic are byrne's too IIRC. cuz that was when luthor was mighty offended by the fact that superman wanted nothing to do with him, and we all know that nobody says no to luthor

Quite a few of the pics are from Byrnes Post crisis revamp.

Could you post the scan that comes after this one? I have wondered what her reaction would be when he told her he was Superman.

Ok, Now back to the All Star Superman scans...

A/S Supes is talking with Pa Kent, when Krypto comes back to Earth, Supes decides to play catch with Krypto by throwing a tree stump into deep space:

Supes shows impressive speed by almost instantly flying to the outer asteroid belt with Krypto, and then they check out the Earth........ From the Moon:

All-Star Superman is just overseeing his home town, when 3 Supermen from the 853rd Century come to meet him. One of them is Superman 1 Million, the second is a 5th Dimensional Imp named Klyzyzk-Klznyplkz, and the third is a mysterious character with a bandaged face called The Unknown Superman:

They reveal that they have come to Earth to help All-Star Superman defeat the Chronovore. This creature has the power to destroy the entire world:

Continued:

The three Supermen go to fight the Chronovore, but when All-Star Superman is about to help, Superman 1 Million tries to stop him.......... Yeah Right:

Even Krypto got in a good shot on Superman 1 Million 😂:

While all of this is going on, Pa Kent is talking with the Unknown Superman, and wishes the best for his beloved son:

All-Star Superman then completes another one of the twelve super-challenges, by single handidly holding the Chronovore at bay. (A task not even a 5d Imp, and Superman 1 Million combined could accomplish):

In the Midst of All-Star Supes dealing with the Chronovore, the Unknown Superman tells him to stop. A/S Superman is told to "Let Go". He finds that his Pa suffered a missive heart attack:

Continued:

Superman then speaks of his father at the funeral. The father that taught him all of the lessons that shaped the man he has become:

All has been righted, and the Unknown Superman takes off his bandages, only to reveal that he is the future version of the current Superman:

The Unknown Superman (which revealed himself as the current All-Star Superman) says that he came back in time disguised, so that he could see his Pa one last time.

Then the "leader" and most powerful of the future Supermen (Superman Prime) appears. He pays homage to his past self, as well as his adopted father, by presenting an indestructible flower from New Krypton:

great issue imo one of the best superman issues ever

Flying from Earth to Asteroid Belt takes speed between 500-1000 times the speed of light. 😄

Ok I'm a little confused here... I thought that Superman Prime was the current Superman after sitting in the sun for hundreds of centuries. How can the current Superman, advanced to the future, be there to meet himself if he should really be Superman Prime?

Someone please explain this, I'm lost. I thought if it was Superboy, he was killed by Superboy Prime, so how the heck are there two Supermans in the future? 🤨 🤨

Superman Prime is from the 853rd Century (the MUCH distant future).

He came back in time to see his past self.

I understand that part, but why would there also be the Superman wrapped in bandages, as he is also the future version of all-star Superman?

The bandaged Superman was from the NEAR future.

They were technically the same person, but just from different points in time. 🙂

Just so everyone is clear on this....

The above scans from the latest issue (All-Star Superman #6), were a flashback Supes had from when he was younger.

This means that he wasn't powered up by solar radiation at that particular time, which makes all of his above feats MUCH more impressive IMO.

The Guardians send Superman on a special mission to preserve the Galactic Balance of Nature. Superman is not at full powers in these scans as the part of the Galaxy he is flying through is full of red stars.

Despite this, Superman was still strong enough to make a small planet by fusing meteorites together, and then proceeds to move it.

Superman intercepts a bomb that was meant to destroy the Earth and isn’t harmed at all.

Moves the moon.

A Super Nova only dazes Superman for a micro second. He then finds himself in an unknown solar system and proceeds to drill his way to the center of a planet.

Thanks poke!

Superboy breaks the time barrier by flying 1000s of times the speed of light.
