Honestly, Wolverine's even more of a leader than Cage
Let's see, Pym's pro-reg so he's definetly going to be joining New Avengers and I'm glad he's finally got his groove going on over in the Intiative and hopefully when/if he joins Mighty Avengers.
Luke Cage as a leader? I didn't mind that too much to be honest, he isn't the smartest of peoples but he has something in common with Cap moreso than anybody else on that team (albeit maybe Wolverine) he knows what's right and won't stand for anything less.
Wolverine and Spidey on the team don't fit if you think of it as THE AVENGERS, but I don't, theres a hole different dynamic to the team and I enjoy it much more than the previous New Avengers. The hole niche about the New Avengers is that they are new and improved (in a way), if you stop comparing them to Avengers just because that's their name then they are quite a good team actually. I think of New Avengers much more as Avengers for standing for the right (with the hole CW fiasco, IMO they are the good guys) but the Mighty Avengers have a much more Avengerish line-up and the villains they face seem to be more Avenger-ish too.
Strange? He's been pretty cool as of yet, but the whole spider-man fingers when he's casting spells has annoyed me a little and the hole needing to meditate when he's never needed to before. I can see him getting played down alot to fit on this book, he has been so far aswell. They probably could of sent him on his own to take down the ninja's and save Maya realistcally. Another thing that irked me a little, is that they had Wong seem so rude and he suddenly got really fat. If everybody had read Dr.Strange: The Oath they would of seen a much skinnier more peer-ish Wong that I much preffered IMO.
I'm pleased with the two contrasting Avengers title, I just want to see how the third one (Intiative) fits into the status quo aswell.
