Shang Chi should be a slightly better melee'er but Rand has the power to win this.

Without using the Iron Fist technique, this could be a good match. But Danny's IF and chi blasting is what makes the difference here.

Danny himself pretty much admitted Shang Chi was the best martial artist he's ever seen, when he was fighting Steel Serpent.

Although Shang Chi also immediately recognized Danny as a master.

Still, I'm inclined to go with the character who staggered Iron Man through his armor using unamped attacks very early in his career, over the character that really couldn't hurt affect Thing with his blows.

That was a very old armor, not equal to Thing's hide... and Tony beat him in the end.
