Payment in the Entertainment Business.

On what basis exactly are celebrities showered with enormous amounts of money? Many careers where people work twice as hard and make a ton of more sacrifices get paid in miniscule amounts in comparisons. Since its an established fact that paychecks are so not based on the amount of work and effort put into the job in question, what exactly gives them the upper edge finacially?
🙄 😕

Because they have paparazzi sitting out on the sidewalk every where they go. The guy who works in Dunkin Donuts....not so much.

Paparazzi follow them because they're rich and famous. Not the other way around.

And as to why they're paid so much...I don't know. I think it's rather stupid, this whole culture of celebrity worship. Who gives a damn?

wait so there seriously is no ground basis at all for them getting paid so damn much?!

😐

what the ****?

just. 🤨

this is a crazy world.

If people stopped reading the supermarket tabloids that would be proof there was less demand of the hollywood stars and that in turn might insure that they get paid less when they star in their next movie.

Movies, music, TV shows, and sporting events net an enormous amount of money.

Therefore, the people involved are paid well.
