Holiday Card Project
Something I support and definitely plan on doing this year, please if you can spare time, some effort, and a few bucks, I think its an amazing gesture and really doesnt cost you at all.
I hope other fellow KMCers will consider participating.
This year marks the third annual deviantART Holiday Card Project. With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the Holiday Card Project connects deviants from all around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating get well holiday cards.Last year the Project received a little over 1100 holiday cards sent in by over 600 deviants. Those cards were then divvied up and distributed in person by dA members at the UCI Medical Center in Orange, California. Extra cards were given to various hospitals in the U.S. and Canada for their staff to hand out to patients. Deviant participants sent in cards from many countries including Finland, Australia, Singapore, Israel, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Norway, Portugal, Belgium, Russia, Estonia, Greece, and Canada just to name a few.

Basically the whole idea is to go out and buy or stay at home and make cards wishing people happy holidays and best wishes type deal.
All cards must be postmarked by December 15th.

Again I urge you guys to participate even if you're not a deviant, because everyone can use a little extra happiness during the holidays.
Please don't turn this thread into complete rubbish and off-topic talk about the growing demands of healthcare etc. It's simply a thread to provide information. Although if you're participating it'd be lovely to hear it. And keep in mind you have the complete option of anonymity. No one needs to know who the card/cards are from.
