how can anyone compare james bond to mission impossible (movies). They shouldn't have ever let tom cruse near the mission impossible movies in the first place.

I first saw Mission: Impossible when I was 15 and I didn't have a Scooby what the hell was going on. And I considered myself to be smarter than the average bear. In retrospect, it's not that muddled. In comparison to the very-dumbed down sequel it stands out as a better example of film-making made by a director who doesn't underestimate the audience.

Bond by virtue of the last two MI movies being below average.

I liked MI: 1 though, they nailed down Ethan Hunt in that one.

There are twenty-some Bond films to choose from versus three MI movies; Bond wins just due to the sheer number difference.

James Bond is really great movie series than Mission Impossible, because it has great stories and characters are excellence on their place. Bond is the best.
