Comic book drinking game.

Comic book drinking game.

Just as a joke, let's devise a comic book drinking game. Most drinking games based off of media are quite simple (Take a drink anytime someone says 'may the force be with you' in Star Wars, for example)

Hence, along the same vein....let's make up some rules.

I'll start

1) Take a shot everytime the word 'snikt' appears on panel.
2) Take a shot everytime the globe atop the daily planet falls (Two drinks if superman catches it).
3) Take a shot everytime something is referred to as "All powerful" "limitless" "infinite" or "impossible".
4) Take a shot everytime Batman batkicks something/someone.

...

Continue, if you please. 🙂.

My Mummy says drinking is for criminals, lawyers and clowns and if you drink you'll end up being abused by young children while you're dressed in huge pants and have womens makeup all over your face.

You don't want to be a clown do you?

sounds like the voice of experience 😛

Oh Jesus, it's all in good fun, guys. C'mon.

How about every time somebody has come back from the dead?

Damn right.

5) Take a shot everytime someone is ressurected. Two if no explanation is given.

6) Take a shot everytime the laws of physics are TOTALLY ignored - even by comic book standards. Punching through time, for instance.

You'd be wasted off your ass 1/8 of the way down the list.

That's the point 😖hifty:.

Seriously though, Drinking games are done WHILE you're reading the comic. It's not like you just say "I'm gonna drink a shot for everyone thats EVER been ressurected." it's more along the lines of, if someone is brought back to life on panel, while you're reading, you take a shot. 🙂.

Let's see how few cliche panels it takes us to pass out! 🙂.

Take a shot every time you see the word "the."

😂

How about everytime Wolverine:

Says Bub
Scowls
Has emphasis on his drawing his claws

Everytime he survives an attack he shouldn't, as well....You'd be drunk by the third page.

Heroes reborn drinking game:

Take a sip whenever...

- any character's costume changes between panels (if you take full
drinks for this when reading Avengers #1, you'd obliterate your liver by
page 30 or so. Just sip.)

Take a drink whenever...

- Captain America spouts propaganda- no, it doesn't matter if it's to
his wife, his son, his co-workers or the villains

- Cap's shield is easily the best-coloured and illustrated item on the page

- In defiance of human physics, completely unaerodynamic planes are
shown zipping through the air above a battlefield

- Bouncing Boy, of the LSH, makes a guest appearance, masquerading as Duggan

- a villain explains their master plan or philosophy of life for no
apparent reason

- an Asgardian says something laughably lame
- chug if any character seems to notice exactly how stupid a line
it really is

- an Asgardian combines their Middle English speech patterns with 90s
expressions, usually with laughable results

- you find yourself saying "And I thought it couldn't get any worse..."

- a woman is shown that is *not* proportioned like a supermodel

- every time a so-called genius does something pretty stupid
- twice if it's not in Iron Man

- every time an previously obscure character is made prominent in the
plotline (only drink for their first appearance)

- whenever the Hulk's muscles change position and size between panels

- whenever someone thinks about something non-angstful

- when any character appears, due to bad use of perspective, to be
roughly as tall as a building

- an Avenger has their weapon readied in a completely
non-confrontational situation

- common household items are shown to be used without need of cables! Neat!

- a character's neck is portrayed as being wider than their skull

And, in Captain America or the second half of Avengers...

- any character displays a facial expression besides the following:
anger, extreme anger, surprise/shock, or happiness.

Chug the full contents of the nearest beer keg whenever...

- Hellcat has significant character development

- Captain America is portrayed as a real human being, with faults,
fears, and weaknesses

Claremont drinking game:

Take one drink whenever any of the following happens:

-- A character perceives the world as "patterns of energy"
-- Wolverine or Rogue explain their powers in a thought
balloon
-- Someone calls Kitty by a pet name (Kitten, Katchzen,
Katya, etc.)
-- A character is believed to be dead but really isn't (take
two drinks if Charles believes someone is dead; chug
after reading Fall of the Mutants)
-- Claremont kills off a character who is later ressurrected
by another writer
-- Claremont uses any of the following terms:
* "eldritch"
* "a body" as a synonym for "somebody" or "anybody"
* "nigh invulnerable"
* "flamin'" as an expletive
-- The team goes into battle accompanied by someone without
super powers
-- Illyana uses her time in Limbo as a guilt trip on another
character
-- Anyone uses two different languages in the same speech
aracter has had sex
-- Any appearance by Jean Grey, real or imagined, between the
Dark Phoenix Saga and X-Factor
-- Someone says "I love you" and the other person answers
"And I, you"
-- Wolverine uses the word "soul" (take two drinks if he says
"a body's soul"😉
-- Rogue freaks out
-- Rachel freaks out
-- Wolverine freaks out
-- Wolverine considers killing a teammate, but doesn't
-- Storm has claustrophobia
-- Sunspot makes a sexist remark
-- Anything in the mansion needs to be repaired

Take a shoot every time Superman completely over powers Kryptonite when he is sapost to be completely at it's mercy!

Read one Action Comic and you will die of alcohol poisoning

Every time Superman does a Jesus pose - Shot
Every time Hulk says "Strongest there is" - shot

Every time someone DOESN'T notice the apperance of Superman and Clark Kent wearing his glasses. Luther is a total freaking idiot!

😆

Every time Hank Pym makes a complete moron of himself in Ultimates

What about a shot whenever someone gives a speech, thought or otherwise, in midair.

- a woman is shown that is *not* proportioned like a supermodel

Did a lot of women have the body of an asian boy in heroes reborn?
