Superman has never beaten the real Darkseid, merely an avatar. Hell he took control over billions of daxamites and teleported a planet away at the same time.

im quite familiar with darkseid. In hunter/prey doomsday, his omega beams did jacksquat and he got his ass handed to him.

In the superman cartoon and jl cartoon, superman beat the stuffing outta him everytime, and no, he wasn't some avatar.
