His suit looks more blue than black. But I guess they had to do this to achieve the right lighting effect they were aiming for for this poster...

Great effects! I see they redid the colors of Spidey again, its redder than usual. 😉

In the comics they make Venom look more blue then black.

Only in current comics. Originally, the blues used in drawings of Venom were just to show muscle definition and whatnot.
