But if Doom uses his Doomly tactical ability to its fullest he'll probably do what everyone else is trying to say. Keep his distance, use projectiles, etc.

well yeah Hulk beats almost anyone in a fist fight

but this is simply Doom v Hulk w/ no stips so Doom can use what ever he usually would

Basically, the answer is yes. Hulk won't beat Doom all the time. He might not even be able to do it unless his initiative roll is higher than Doom's and he gets the jump. But in certain situations he can do it.

doom has way to much up his sleeve and the hulk is to stupid to beat him

no way Doom starts flat footed in this fight (wisdom score is just too high for him not to notice Hulk)

If you wan't too keep with DnD refs then look at it this way highlevel barbarrian with almost everything in strenght vs a well balanced level twenty sorcerer and about 30 feet between them

It's just not a matter of "From 20 paces, who wins?" it's "Can hulk beat Doom?" Are there any circumstances in which Hulk could beat Doom? Any situation at all where Doom would be screwed when fighting Hulk?

It's kind of a loaded question of sorts because I could probably beat Superman by firing a spitwad with kryptonite in it into his mouth while he's yawning at the Daily Planet. In which case I could say "I can beat Superman" and people automatically think I mean I can pummel him to death with my spined hands at the drop of a hat. But that's not true.
