I think it's important to be able to see the difference between natural beauty and hyped-up beauty. The entertainment industry is mostly about the latter cuz--working in conjunction with the fashion biz--it can define beauty in such a way as to maximize profit ("You too can look as good as Current It Girl with our Hydro-Purl Age-Reverser Cream! Call within the next ten minutes and we'll even give you two bottles for the price of one!"😉.
That said, there are plenty women who are being hammered into our psyches as beautiful but really aren't: they're attractive and/or glamorized, but truly, classically beautiful? Not IMO. (eg, Tammy Garcia: she's very attractive, sexy, chock fulla attitude, but I wouldn't call her beautiful).

Truly beautiful women are the ones that look great getting right out of bed, no makeup, super hairdo's, extravagant clothes, airbrushing etc.
On that note, many celebrities that are considered "gorgeous" look horrible in candid photos.

I am going to ask a really stupid question. What is the big deal about a very beutiful woman? Is that the ideal that every man should have? Does it mean that she is special or better then the ones who aren't? Is there a handicap for the ones who aren't?
I mean, I have seen very good looking men in my life, but I wouldn't base a relationship or even getting to know him based on his good looks, there is so much more to people then looks. I've dismissed plenty of GREAT looking men in my lifetime, and some were amazed that someone like *moi* would reject them, but really, I find very good looking men to be lazy in spirit and character, one really good looking model guy told me he can get any woman he wanted, and a female like me is a piece of cake. I was stunned, as they only way he would have me is if he raped me, and I wouldn't let that happen. I had another guy who was dating a white lady that he could have me, I never gave him a single issue that I wanted him, yes, he was good looking, but that doesn't mean sex, that just means that he looks good, looking good doesn't mean sex or favors for me. Well, his wife and him worked at the same job and they both were my managers, she had a "chat" with me, told me that she knows her husband and if he comes on to me that i am wise to leave him alone. I thought "wow" and left that job b/4 I started it. He had a great body, but there was no way I wanted him that way, but b/c he was good looking, he thought that I would be easy.
Not sure, I heard women say that men are easy, maybe that's true, if all a woman has to do is look so beautiful, then she really doesn't have to be anything else, hence a good reason why some are spoiled and bratty, but age bitter.
I could never get into a guy based on his looks alone, once I read him as lazy in character, he bores me. And that reading only takes seconds.
