I'm going to say that my gut feeling is that rape is just morally worse. I have major issues with authority and whatnot, so that probably plays a factor in my choice, and the violation thing is completly unforgiveable.
However, ofcourse, when put to any objective cost benefit scenario, murder is far more pragmatically evil.

The few seconds before I read the second part of your post, I was going to reply with "and murder isn't completely unforgivable?"... I understand your gut feeling though, you just don't want to be corn-holed. 😛

Sure it does, and both being "bad" has no relevance to one being worse. E.G., would you rather lose your left or right arm? While both being bad, losing your right arm would be worse if you happen to be right handed.
I would not say equal but it is hard to gauge which is "worse". Both of these have to include factors beyond the initial act to be judged properly because even child molestation could be considered worse if one does not have those around them to nurture them afterwards. "Hell on Earth" sort of thing.

Like stated before, putting in factors, especially extremes, one can sway the argument any which way. 'Would you rather be raped so brutally; you end up as a paraplegic or be murdered painlessly in your sleep?' Obviously 'murder' seems the the better choice there, if one had to happen. So, for integrity's sake, it's just "rape" or just "murder".
Wait, why are people saying "Both"?
I understand child worship (No, I don't really.) but that's no reason to say paedophilia is as bad as murder, and then there are the people who won't admit the obvious worse choice because they feel it would somehow make them pro-paedo of something.
Haha, tor-paedo. Remember that pun for later use.
