As most people should know, Asian parents are typically much more strict than Western parents, especially those parents from North East Asia.
A lot of Western people often critisize that recent young Asian adults rely too much on their parents. Let me tell you something, if you really think this way, you are stupid. Typically, most parents from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and such still treat their kids as kids even when their kids are in their 20s, or 30s.
Many people believe that parents are still very responsible for their kids even their kids have turned to adults.
And many young adults who are in their 20s and 30s still have to listen to what their parents say.
