Dice?

Don't know if this is the wrong section to ask or anything but I do have a question about a movie. In "A Bronx Tale" we see C playing a game of dice when he is young and wins a lot of money for Sonny. What game is this? I always see it in movies and never wondered what it was until now. Another movie I remember seeing it in is "Friday".
