Tossing someone is a pretty standard feat in comics, strength-wise; safe to say Clark weighs less than armored Red, too (obviously).
Wolverine's got plenty of feats in a depowered state, including strength feats, such as using Hand ninjas as human clubs against their companions (who were struggling to keep him restrained with chains):

Adamantium-less, healing factor still messed up from Fatal Attractions.
You could argue how you can't "humanize" him completely... but that cannot be properly done to a certain alien immigrant, either 😛 Although it's much easier in his case.
