Onslaught Reborn: why Why WHY!!!!!!! :x

Did anyone beside me pick up this peice of crap?

When HOM happened and wanda said no more mutants, the energy of Xavier and Magneto re-created Onslaught. So in order to hide from him Franklin remakes the Heroes Reborn universe and jumps into it.

This crap ass story will make you cry if you let it.

...besides, Marvel needs a good mindless villian to beat up after the drama-fest that is CW. And all the big ones are duking it out in Annihilation.

it actaully would make sense seeing as how explained by beast the energy of the mutant had to go some were so in reality it quite possible that magneto's and prof.x energy could have merged.

Damn! When i "got it" I was anxious to read it and make the first thread about it, including scans but damn they f*ed it up big time. I mean I liked the original but this is pure garbage. I thought the explanation as to how he was "reborn" is plausible but just so it wouldnt count in current continuity they had Franklin miracously have the freaking Heroes Reborn ball stash in his toy box and they end up back in the HR universe and not to mention the art is horrific. F**k Rob Liefield, F* him, F*him, that bastard shouldnt be near any major comic book character.

His previous form was kinda cool looking.

Actually do looks are very similar to the original one except that now he looks lame

Why are they trying to bring back Leifeld, I so hate his artwork. It was cool back awhile ago but he hasn't grown at all as an artist.

Man ... that was garbage ... I've crapped out better stories than that.

And don't you just love the way they ignored continuity? Torch draining himself in 2 minutes, Franklin still having that ball... even though a Celestial took over guardianship of that universe/planet.... and weren't Magneto's powers part of the Collective?

For someone who is supposed to be a cross between Xavier and Magneto, onslaught seemed really dumb

Seriously, being unable to take the FF by suprise? Why not just control Sue's mind and make her choke them all out, or control them individually and walk them off the roof or make them fly really deep into the ocean?

Onslaught is such a joke, which sucks, since I think he has amazing potential as a villian

I agree. He should be a kick ass villain, but now he's just the super villain of the month.

A damn shame. He deserves better.
