Could it not also be possible that they claim that he is playing Jack as a child is a double ruse. In that perhaps they are saying it is Jack when in fact it is Will and Elizabeth's child? I'm not switching sides, but I feel it's important to look at all possibilities.

The ones that speculated he was going to play a young Jack were the ones that wrote the article. Disney hasn't said anything about how Dominic will come in to play. I think it was PLF that said that his name wasn't posted in IMBD because it would give away to much. So I really doubt he is going to play a young Jack.

Whatever the kid's purpose, it will be a huge suprise, and I'm shall we say more than skeptical that any one can actually know that the child is Will and Elizabeth's or anybody else's.

All I can say is if it is W/E kid it would be so expected, It wouldn't be a shocker. 😉

OMG....im reading this 36 pg. script you talk of....and it's rather good....wow...i love so far.....and it seems like it could be authentic because it mentions Liz in nothing but a short green robe feeling self contious...and well we have already seen that pic.....wow im excited!

Regardless of who the father of the child is, I don't think it will be a 'secret' love child. That's about as far out there as any of the men becoming gay and taking each other for lovers.

So if Will and Elizabeth do get married, I doubt that there will be any doubt about who the father is. If Elizabeth and Jack get together, the child will be theirs.

Of course, I've suspected that there is a child of Jack's somewhere out there, but I don't know for sure. 😄

Or possibly many mini-jacks. we may never know for sure.

It's possible. There's no character that's come back to life only to die again that I can recall. That would be shocking, and pretty much bittersweet for every single person in the audience there for Jack Sparrow.
