USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 SECOND ASSIGNMENT- 'The Monastery'

Started by Lana105 pages

Heh...it's certainly interesting.

And pretty simple and to the point. And after an entire afternoon trying to think of how to get all three of us out of that room alive? This stands the best chance.

Balder, welcome to Team Suicide, you're going outside 😛 in other words, go through the S/W door back to the balcony. I'd highly suggest tapping ST in case any SWAT shoot at you. Then...hop over the balcony.

Meanwhile, San and Ares will head out the N/E door.

Fun plan, huh?

And now I can post my move!

Ares will fire off a barrage at Agent F as he takes his leave and follows San through the North-East door.

Azrael will move toward the North door, firing one gun at a SWAT while holding on to the phone.

Sorry, forgot I was teaching this morning. Doing it now instead... whilst I should be prepping for teaching tomorrow. Meh.

Initiative roll is 6-5 to you.

Melkor dashes on, firing backwards at the Berserker-bothering Agents.

Berserker goes for a furious knife attack, but an Intercept Punch brings his attack to an end, and brings him to the edge of exhaustion.

Azrael dashes forward, as do the SWAT; even in a wide room, this many are awkward to simply run past, and nor can he hear his phone in a gunfight.

Cloud runs like crazy.

Burn spins and fires, unfortunately having just mocved out of the shotgun's bonus range. He is alarmed to find his blast entirely ineffective.

Mors taps Silver Prince, doing a nice flippy acrobatic attack on the Agent. A shame it is not complimented by a Scales power! Mors rolls well and hits the Agent hard.

Heph actally lands a blow on the Agent this time, though it is not very hard. That IPunch really disrupted your rhythmn!

Melis, whose hopes from Burn are completely ruined, moves in on Agent G as well. Her attack ends up with but one success, but with a Spear behind it that is still highly significant.

Barb finds new cover and blows down a SWAT. "Say what?" shouts Dallas, running on past and gunning down two more before dropping the gun.

Helios has a little more luck, taking two pool off of Agent I. Won't slow him down much though.

Balder, tapping ST to avoid the hail of bullets coming his way, runs like hell back into the Balcony room! The SWAT move to follow.

Ares and San have disengaged (and hence Ares does not fire), and move out east.

Fire and Mirage hang back and fire. Their effect is good, though armour slows them.

Bad guys!

Agent C looks for targets. He steps out in front of Melkor. Uh-oh!

The Agents attacking Berserker have been slowed- but not enough. he is smashed to the ground. Agent E towers over him, blocking out the light.

"You will never open that door," he says. He then looks up, and a grun comes over his face as he thinks of an amusing way to kill you.

Barb's cover keeps him safe, but Sirin is hit!

Time I count Hawk out of the scenario. It is unreasonable to leave him in further, lest he be attacked without being able to make reply, or be in an unfair state of being ignored by foes. This being the case, Hawk will not escape the Monastery. I'll give this one more turn.

Agent I strolls over to engage those firing bastards! Welcome back to Agent close combat, you guys.

Mors is still landing from his acrobatic Silver Prince attack, making him hard to hit. But the agent's hand shoots up and grabs his arm. Mors lands with his arm solidly gripped... and then twisted...

Agent activates: Snatch

Almost as if in a horror movie, Mors can only watch as his sword flies out of his hand and embeds itself in a high rafter.

Card- 3H

Osprey incoming! And Agent E thinks it will be funny to Osprey Berserker to death. He strides out into the middle of the large step, and holds up Berserker above his head directly in the path of the incoming aircraft.

Ok, We need to get through that door NOW!
Is the agent still blocking it?

Yes, and you are in close combat range again anyway.

"I don't think so..." Barb says slowly, lining up the Agent betwixt the Sights of the .50 Caliber Handgun. He opens fire on Agent E.

(Lets see 'em hold up Berserker with a nice hail of gunfire coming his way. I just hope we get initiative...)

If The Bad guys get initiative:
Barb will empty the DEagle into a SWAT.

Either situation, Barb will drop the empty gun, and draw his Tachis.

And now, the Mors Plan! The Plors.

With some credit to San...

I want Hawk to use his turns to high-tail it out to the balcony room and join Balder in leaping over that Balcony and getting the hell out onto the rock gardens.

Helios, Melis, you need to get Agent I to follow you to said place and over said balcony. Helios, it's up to you to floor Agent I for a moment so that you and Melis can get to that door...

...so tap VG and SS and knock him down.

I DO want him to follow you there, so that we have less trouble than we're already facing, but you're not going to be able to move for the door in the first place if he's just punching you relentlessly.

The reason for this is...well, we're NOT going to be able to floor both Agents at once when they're vulnerable. Agent G will be vulnerable shortly, but Agent I...not so likely.

I suggest taunting, if he's not already angry enough to go after you in the first place...

Meanwhile, Heph, Burn, myself, will get the hell out when Agent G goes down. Burn, you'll be disengaged from Agent I (trusting that Helios' kick goes as planned) and come with us once Agent G is out.

So yeah. Let's hope that goes as planned, or we'll be losing some people...

Meanwhile, Mors' own action...

"That's new," Mors says, sliding his sais swiftly out of his coat. He swings the left one to the right across the Agent's stomach, then comes around with the right one to the left across the Agent's face.

(Swap JE for PM before the attack, and tap for two attacks)

"Come on, hit me!" Heph says, a little frantic at the Agent's relentless attitude towards Mors. He slams another fist into Agent G's back.

In the event that Agent G acts on Heph's taunting, Heph will tap HT in response, smashing another fist into him.

Azrael will settle into a crouch, sliding the phone along the floor to stop by the North door. He'll shoot once more at a SWAT, pulling another gun as he straightens once more.

Klez dashes down the steps, flipping through the air down onto Step 6 as the Osprey makes its run (tap BT) and turning in mid-air to give assisting fire to Marduk, opening up on Agent C (tap BGB).

He lands on his back and rolls with the momentum, onto his feet.

Sirin lifts the H&K as she runs and sprays down a SWAT to assist Dallas. She twists away from the Osprey gunning run and keeps moving.

(tap LA, swap LA for ST)

Since Mors is being annoying...is Burn in combat range of Agent G as well?

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Mors' plan of running cowardly away and over the balcony...

Melis would like to know if she's in close combat with both Agent's as well...

Yeeeah, Ares is following San's lead.

"Don't lead us into another death trap, eh?" he says, keeping his gun ready to blow apart anything that comes through the door, or at least keep it from coming any closer.

The doors in the 3-room corridor are east, west, and north, correct?

Because if so, San is heading to the North door. Which means Ares is as well.

"Hey, you could have always gone the other way." San replies, slamming the door shut as they go through it and heading north across the room.

"Yes, but there wasn't a sexy, knife-wielding chick in that direction!"

Helios will run at the Agent I tapping VG and SS as he delivers a straight, hard kick into the agent's abdomen.
