How would have done the fights, if not CGI, Cristopher Lee is old, he can barely walk.
Count Dooku, greatest character ever, needed to get that out of my chest.

What do you mean he can barely walk? He still attends a variety of charity events, signing events, recording studios, movie sets etc and I dont ever see him with a walking stick. He is definetly one of the fitter 84 year olds around. 😐

I exaggerated. i meant he cant move fast and he cant do the fights, thats why they did it with a stunt double and add Lees face with CGI, because GL wants emotions on faces.

We know WHY he did it taht way, that still doesn't mean it looks good.

Don't judge him by his fights, he didn't act there, judge him by his performance, with dialogue and such.

but you have to have the whole package or else whats the point
its just plain awful looking any fight scene involving Lee

I do think Lee ws underused though. I still believe AOTC would have been such a different movie if it had opened with a scene with Dooku.
I would have liked it to start more like the OT films, with the viewer knowing the threat that looms over the entire movie. So I'd have liked, right after the opening scroll, Dooku arriving on Geonosis, checking on the production of the droid army to deal a devastating blow to the Republic... them having no army. With all the great power houses of the galaxy around him (Banking Clan, techno Union, Trade Federation) and a new weapon on the way.... the republic will soon come to an end and the Separatists will reign supreme.

I find it strange that Lucas departed so much from the OT format, if I can call it that. All OT films start with a scene about the plans of the bad guys. Immediately you'd (kinda) know what the heroes are up against. In the PT Lucas gave us a half-a$$ed detective story...
