No...thats not how it happenned, I will explain it:
General Grievous started off by bringing out all four lightsabers and started doing the spinning thing...he wasn't taking OB1 very seriously of course, because he is a fool (OB1 that is) but after the first arm was cut off...Grievous started to take it a bit more serious, he was still advancing on OB1, just a little more cautious, but then...one of his droids which just got waxed and cleaned that day wanted a better seat to witness this intense duel, so he goes to the other end of the hallway in front of Grievous, and of course when one of his droids moves, he has to agnaloge (spelling?) it, so when he looks up for a fraction of a second, the dumb droid waves at him, and that is when the glare of the sun shines off of the droid and right at Grievous's eye! That is when that arm was cut off, and that is why he did a slight "scream" when it came off. But as we all know, he is better with two lightsabers which is why he got quite cocky when he lost it and started advancing again. But then when the Clone Army came in, he knew he had to get out of there...so that is why he left
