Cable is great. And I for one think, much happened within the Surfer vs. Cable match.
But in the end, he would lose steam and Thor would overpower him if not burn himself out attempting to match Thor.

I dunno. For one thing, the Surfer's blasts have been depicted as more powerful than Thor's.

I've also never seen Thor 'shut off' an X-Gene the way the Surfer did. I'd say it'd be close than that.

Since when? They've had two head two head match up's and in both Thor didn't do much blasting.

That maybe because he doesn't have the ability to do so.

That was the point.

Surfer versus ANY mutant is such an easy fight because he can just shut off their X-gene. Thor doesn't have that same luxury.

So your point was to speculate? Because Thor wasn't shown unnecessarily blasting in head to head matches doesn't necessarily mean that Surfers blast are superior. It simply means each character go's about battling in different manners.

I didn't. I responded to Thor's inability to shut off Cable's X-gene in the same way the Surfer did. No speculation needed.
