well, you have to require additional info. lets say you and i are webcaming, getting to know each other, then you let it slip that you live in.....i dont know, illinois. all one would have to do is access DMV records to get a name and address.

I kind of wish I had a webcam, but I'd only use it for instant messenger `srug~

I have a webcam around here somewhere. Used to use it all the time, thought it was cool. Now I really don't see the purpose anymore, and I'm to lazy to connect it to my computer.

Still I wouldn't really care, everything a stalker would want to know about me can be found on Google anyways, proabbly not even that much work to figure it all out. So personally I really don't see the problem with doing all that crap, and only extremely paranoid people would think that it's really dangerous.

Of course it can turn out wrong but you just have to be smart about it, posting naked pictures of yourself is idiotic because god knows where they end up, but for the rest who cares?

Webcams are not dangerous without other information.

agreed, as i stated in my previous posts. but they can lead to other things, things that would cause a seemingly normal to do some not so normal things.
