i dont think thor kills anyone as they're trying to "regroup and fall back," i think he kills someone between the panels where dagger says "we all thought you were dead" and "oh god." there's a clear change in lighting, which seems to imply the lightning's either stopped or something else is happening off-panel, and the panel-by-panel preview just lets you know they left something out on purpose.
