Rank the Seattle bands

Something I was just thinking about.

Rank them 1-4, 1 being highest.

The biggest four only: Soundgarden; Pearl Jam; Nirvana; Alice in Chains.

1: alice in chains
2: soundgarden
3: nirvana
4: pearl jam

although i would have had mudhoney at 3

I thought it'd alienate too many people to include them.

I'd probably have the same order. Possibly switch the top two.

When you were thinking of this were you staring at a wall or just casually masturbating on your toilet seat?

I've done my list a little different; you see, I've listed the bands from 1-4, but with 4 being the highest.

Here it is:

4. Soundgarden
3. Pearl Jam
2. Nirvana
1. Alice in Chains

Just as I thought. Fell right into my trap, didn't you.

1. Alice in Chains
2. Pearl Jam
3. Sound Garden
4. Nirvana

This seems a little too generic a thread for you to start? Kinda surprising.

4. Pearl Jam
3. Soundgarden
2. Nirvana
1. Alice in Chains

Second the notion on adding Mudhoney, and Screaming Trees. If you guys aren't read up on those "other" Seattle bands, just go rent "Hype!".

In his defense, those are the only Seattle bands that matter.

Hmm, how I like them, totally, and like, with being little exposed to some and also generally not an expert and stuff.

Highest (as in who I dig most, totally): Pearl Jam
Not Highest: Nirvana
Not Highest but lower than the other not highest: Alice in Chains
Lowest but higher than other bands not featured in this list: Soundgarden

Yeah...

Yeah...

It's finally happened.

Bardock has receded so far into his own arse that he has become Ya Krunk'd Floo.

Yes...we've become one yesterday...if you know what I mean. If not, I meant we had sex.

Wow, Soundgarden lovers here.

I'm an ENORMOUS grunge fan and here is how I rate the four most influential grunge bands within the nineties.

1. Pearl Jam

2. Nirvana

3. Alice In Chains

4. Soundgarden

Technically Foo Fighters are from Seattle...

Foo Fighters are post-grunge, though.

Alice in Chains aren't really grunge either.
