so.....odds?
I think we're a bit unwilling because of our inherent bias.
BW/DC still have to be slight favorites in the semis, even though I wouldn't be totally shocked with an upset. And I'll refrain from commenting on our match too much. To an outside person, it's probably roughly equal right now. I think general consensus originally was that Scoob and I lacked overall power, but I think we've shown we can quickly change that with our team's possibilities.
DC/BW - 3/1
Scoob/Digi - 4/1
bran/goober - 4/1
pr/Rew - 5/1

that looks about right . . .

BW/DC have to be at probably 2/1. Our match with bran/goober is pending at the moment.

Has the tourney been going differently than anyone expected? Similar to how you expected? Surprises? Flops? Etc.
Guess they went just as you expected them. Though I have to say I thought Darth/Bran might have pulled a win...
HOW did you know to use the anti metal???.....is there a mole somewhere??

Spider-sense. 😐
...nah, it was just a calculated risk. We just went through lists of Marvel people to see who SP might be able to become that would help us. And we figured they'd try something with metal (if I had AM, the first thing I'd try to do is make him adamantium or something), and BP was the only person we could find who had anti-metal as part of his standard equipment.

Anyway, bump.

Coming in to this, I'll be honest, I was most worried about DL/LL out of everyone in the tourney. And I was happy when bran/goober won in round 1. Not because I think they're less powerful than DL/LL, but because we had a good strategy for them.
DL/LL would have been a...challenge. Only becaue there were less discernible weaknesses in their team that we could exploit.
And BW/DC seemed pre-ordained to get to the finals from their bracket...pr/rew did well, but we've been prepping for these two in the back of our minds all tourney.
And amusingly enough, Scoob was most worried about bran/goober. Neither of us thought BW/DC would be our toughest challenge.
😛
...
Surprisingly few upsets though (though bran/goober are new to the tourney thing).
And mad props to goober in particular. I talked with him a bunch via PM, and the amount of prep work he put in was inspiring....he was researching past tourneys to determining debating tendencies and stuff in addition to the regular scan-finding and prepping...just "above and beyond" kind of stuff.

All honesty? We thought the same for them compared to you 😬
Seems they had the most dangerous team.
But good luck to you guys. Your gonna need it, I'm like Scoob's kryptonite 😈
