That issue was alright. Gave a little more backstory to what happened, but I felt like it just retold the first issue.

Speculation time!

Darth Krayt says that he should have ended the Skywalker line when he had the chance. What do you suppose this means?

I think that is meaningless double talk. Krayt also has some sort of connection with the Skywalkers I think. Does anyone else think that?

It just means Krayt was around during and pre clone wars and he's almost a few hundred years old.

Does anybody know who Krayt is?

Sexy, Krayt was born after the Yuuzhan Vong War. 😐

He's Darth Krayt, that's all we know.

I believe that is incorrect for two reason Rex.

1. He states that he knew the Jedi of Old. During the Vong, it was a new breed of Jedi and not too many of them, so it's more than possible that he was referring to the Old Republic Jedi

2. He knows of the Skywalker bloodline, and their history..

So the conclusion would be that he either has studied history intensely, or he was a Jedi of the old republic who survived the Purge and disappeared from the known galaxy.

Does this mean Krayt is 200 plus years old? Or is he rather less than 200 years old?

1a. He'd be quite nearly 200 years old. The purge occured in 19 BBY, and the events in which Krayt takes over are in 137 ABY. That's 156 right there, and assuming he was about 30+ at the time of the Purge...well, that puts you up there.

1b. All material on Krayt has stated that he was born during or at the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War. I'll check my scannings when I get home, but I'm pretty sure that Legacy #0 says this. He's closing in on 100.

2. It sounds like everyone knows the Skywalker line. Seriously. Anakin was a major figurehead during the Clone Wars, Luke was a major figurehead during the Rebellion and everything following. I'm sure Krayt is going to be familiarized with the leading figures of the Enemy. Sidious certainly was, in his time.

Of course Sidious knew about the Skywalker bloodline, he trained the chosen one. How is this the same thing as Krayt knowing about it and how powerful it is, without actually being there?

And again, Krayt says he knows the Jedi of old, I doubt he would be referring to the New Jedi Order whose numbers were few.

Legacy 0 says he came about during the Vong War.

Where does he say that he knew the Jedi of old? Put it in context for me...

And what are you rabbling about with the Skywalker line? It sounds to me like Krayt has history with the Skywalker family, so he probably is familiar with it all. Not to mention that Skywalkers are pretty important, from Anakin onwards.

He says "I know the Jedi of old, they could never share my vision. Today, the last of the Jedi on Ossus will die".

And if he has history with the Skywalkers, wouldn't it be logical that he was around for the Clone Wars? I mean what force sensitive candidates are there, that were born in the Vong War and had a history with the Skywalkers?

You forget that we have yet to see the end of Luke's life, and we still have Ben and his descendants. There's at most two Skywalkers between Ben and Kol on the family tree.

I don't think Krayt means that literally.

But why stop there? Surely, Krayt was referring to the ancient order of jedi, in Exar Kun's time, and is therefor thousands of years old. ✅

Noobaris you're an idiot.

Actually, I found that kind of amusing. 😂

I think what Krayt means is that he knows how the Jedi of old would have responded to his bid for power.

I don't know. I think it's pretty obvious when he says "I know the Jedi of old", that he actually does know them and as a result, knows how they would respond to his bid for power.

I really don't think that's what he means, though. He's not being literal, like 'Oh, I know Yoda.' All the 'Jedi of old' are dead, after all, but he's speaking present tense. I doubt he's still talking to them...

I agree with Darth Sexy. It's made pretty obvious through that single and vague piece of dialogue that Darth Krayt and Yoda were actually drinking buddies. Wait, hold up, maybe I'm looking far too into this... Actually, no way, why was I even doubting myself? That's exactly what Krayt was saying.

Noobaris, your sad excuse for humor goes hand in hand with your piss poor debating skills..

And Rex, I didn't say Krayt knew them personally, I said that it's more than likely that he knew the Jedi of Old, as an entire organization, as in he was alive during those times. Don't forget, he's been in Stasis for god knows how many times.
