Software

So I just bought myself a computer and I was just wondering what’s the best software for making animations, and other stuff I need…
So tell me what you guys use

Photoshop.

I usually draw my animations on paper first, then I photocopy them and trace them on tea leaves, then I blow them up on an overhead projector and color them with crayons before shrinking them down to size in my easy bake oven.

i have PhotoPlus 6.0, its not nearly as good as photoshop, but it was free.

Adobe Flash... (obviously)

3D Studio Max if you got a few grand laying around

Pretty much every decent animation you'll see online. Incliding the games. Have been done on this: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/flashpro/

It's worth getting and there are ways of getting around it's steep cost...
