if i said it myself, i would be called crazy, but guess what, most of what it said in this video is something i have asked in the past, he doesn't mention the fact that the biblical timeline may have already passed if using a different calander...so, we could already be living in the 1000 year rhein...but this isn't a religious discussion, this is one of "time".

To be honest I find such ponderings much more convincingly explained in the likes of the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. The nature of thought (and by extension wisdom) is far more linked to language and the avenues it opens for humans, in terms of teaching, oral tradition, as well as being able to forumalte and reason upon symbolic thought and abstract reasoning.

The whole "it took man a million years to reach the mud hut, but only 5,000 to reach the fallout shelter" kind of thing. Man didn't "inherit" wisdom or intellect, we developed it, it evolved naturally as a by product of language coupled with symbolic thought and abstract reasoning.

this may sound like pseudo-science, but I knew someone who could read minds with his grandmother and they didn't speak the same language, he was Pakistani and Jewish, and spoke English (raised in the USA) and she spoke only Farsi.

I wonder if it's in energy, before the mind forms the thought, I always wondered what happened before I asked "why" or formed a thought, what was it before it was processed as a sound or action in my head...maybe it's energy??

Freud thought that mankind use to communicate telepathically, but language is a new invention created by mankind. An African tribe, supposedly the oldest, doesn't even use phrases, but clicks. It may have to do with the sound which is in essence, energy...but I am still baffled by what happened or being processed right before I thought, right before I asked a question or had a mind to do something...what was there before, empty space??

This is great, i am still asking, where did language come from? some abstraction yes, but that describes it's content, not its origin.

(here I go being weird again) Language reminds me of a jig puzzle, in which we always have to put the pieces together (via words or phrases) in order to communicate the whole picture. Looks like everything is divided, in math and language, and we piece things in different combinations in order to communicate a new image or view of the picture...but why? Why can't we just communicate the whole picture or image...is it because it requires too much memory or space, and it's easier to have things divided..like our brains act like both analog and digital computers..so maybe this is reason why we need to have things in bits, and maybe that's why the abstraction of a computer was developed because it's an aspect of ourself anyway...

Let's do the Time Warp again! After all, it's just a jump to the left, a step to the right, and, with one's hands on one's hips, one brings one's knees in tight.
