Note, you weren't actually trying to destroy the Empire, you were trying to destroy the Republic. Ironically, your terrorist activities gave birth the the empire, or at least the bad parts.

Perhaps we forsaw what it was to become and so tried to save the galaxy, and we were actually the good guys...no, probably not.

But in fewer numbers, we got the numbers with droid types feared by the Repblic, the Droideka. Even the most skilled warriors will fall if over run by enemies

The point is clones had incredible kill numbers. Not to mention superior weaponry.

Droids were almost toys to be broken.

Of course they had incredible kill numbers, it is what they were trained all their life to do. But the droids had numbers and kept on coming and coming with more reinforcements and would eventually overwhelm the Republic into severe losses. The droids were PROGRAMMED to kill, not trained, it would be illogical if the droids had killed more of the clones.

in many ways the clones were programmed to kill. Just WELL "programmed".

not really "programmed" in the sense you are using it, although I understand where you are comng from, they still showed compassion, in Rise of Darth Vader, this was showed by the clones refusing to kill the Jedi. The droids would just kill, because it is what was programmed into them. The clones were trained to kill when needed. The droids were made and put right into battle, no training whatsoever, the clones were bred and raised for war/battle.

Yes, I'm glad you understood that I was not using programmed literally.
