I know their ex keyboard-player. He had to quit because he had a very bad case of mono.

Mastodon? Give them a chance, they only just put out an album.

..which reminds me, I get to go see the boys from Georgia tomorrow night.

Anywho, not sure that I mentioned it, but Poison the Well's new album is out in April, and I'm looking very forward to it as well.

I heard "What Have You Done" off of that album..and I honestly thought they had accidently uploaded an Evanescence B-side.

rumor has it that paul mccartney has finished Grow Old with Me and Now and Then, the two other "new beatles songs" started back in 94/95 and will release them in 07

That's why I said it probably won't happen.

I heard they put up a good show. I wanted to see them while they were in Europe, but because they were touring with and opening for Tool (through Europe at least) the ticket prices sky-rocketed...

It was epic when they opened for Tool, I was there.

I bet it was. Too bad the ticket prices were epic as well... kind of funny how touring with a band like Tool can make the prices go from 15 to 95 Euro. Not saying that seeing Mastodon and Tool in one night isn't worth it, just can't afford it.

I got my ticket at face value, which was about £33.

For me, Bloc Party - A weekend in the city, which was released today.

Aereogramme My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go
Iron & Wine
Dinosaurt Jr
Arcade Fire Neon Bible
Willy Mason If The Ocean Gets Rough

I saw them in Manchester opening for Tool... £29 w00t

why are the ticket prices so high for tool gigs?

Because they're playing bigger venues this time around.

And to be honest £30 isn't a major amount. It's massively worth it for a decent night out. It costs about the same as a trip to Newcastle to see a film for me and I know which I'd rather do.

True.

People spend more than that on club nights out.

That is really cool. 😱

I like that song. They were released before Evanescence.

Rush's New Album out May 1st. Sample up at Rush.com!
I have high hopes for this one. It was produced by Nick Raskulinecz.
