Oops

Last nights drink with friends got a little out of hand and for the first time in years I (and all the people we were with) were given our "ticket" from a pub we sometimes use.

To those outside the UK, that means we've been banned from drinking there again as a result of our.........errrr.........over zealous behaviour, shall we say. 😮

Right now I have that horrible "morning after" feeling. 😮 😮 😮

I'd welcome any hugs or loving comments right now to make me feel better.

I will refrain from the hugs, and rather say; good for you! now if you do the same in all the pubs in the city...

I feel really bad actually, it wasn't really me that got us in trouble. My one friend passed out outside and thats how the trouble started with the landlady. To be honest, it was my idea to start drinking double shots with our drinks so I do feel responsible.

well, it's only one pub. now, have you learned an important lesson from this? 😛

Yes, never suggest drinking double shots when there are women in the round too.

She says that but I think she's out next Saturday with a friend from school. The perfect opportunity for me to go out myself. 😄

My mate Martin and I have developed this rather nice thing where we phone each other the morning after a lash up, just to reassure whoever was most drunk that they were okay and they didn't make too much of a fool of themselves. It usually goes something like this.....

MM: You alright?
M: Yup, you?
MM: Sound. You feelin' rough?
M: Yup, you?
MM: Oh yeah.
M: Fancy a pint this afternoon to feel better?
MM: Oh yeah.

Its there if you read in between the lines.

and as long as u didn't get kicked out of ur favorite bar it doesn't matter
they closed my and my friends's favorite bar (that totally sucks 🙁)

Its not my local or even one I use that regular so I'm not really bothered. The only problem I'll have is that Mrs.MM's aunt and uncle live right by there and they always ask us to meet them there for a drink. I wonder how I'll explain my way out of that next time. 😮
