Genius Writing or a Cliche?

Like the title implies... post a scan(s) that you think is either a cliche, or great writing.
A team of highly trained monkeys(members) will give their opinion on what the scan is.

I'll go first:

Mephisto has organized all of his loses, as part of his plan. He also created all of his enemies, in a way.
