Who are the Celestials

Strongly implied they do Eternity's bidding. Conduct genetic experiments on a number of races. They are energy beings encased in armour. How old they are, and where they were born are a mystery. Anyone with theories.

I have herd that the Celestials are actually from another demension and their Armored bodies encase their projected conciousness in the 616...correct me if im wrong...

Saw the scans in a thread in "Comic Book" section. They are Eternities offsprings.

These should help explain that they were created by Eternity.

Great scans. But anyone have any theories on how old they are. Older than Watchers and the Elders is my theory.

Celestials are from the previous universe. They are around the same time as the elders of the universe. Before Galan became Galactus.

One thing that I found interesting, was I saw a scan where they went to the dimension where M-bodies were created, and it showed the legs of one of the celestials.

This indicates the possibility that their real selves aren't something which can be physically manifested, and that their armored forms are really M-bodies meant to contain a portion of their essence. Celestials can pretty much instantly re-create or fix any parts of their bodies that are broken, shown when the destroyer fought the host of celestials. He chopped off one celestial's arm, and within moments it was recreated exactly as it was before, and Thor hurled the sword through Arishem's chest, slicing clean through it, and Arishem simply withdrew the sword and instantly healed the wound.

This would correspond with the idea that the celestial's true forms exist outside of the physical universe; it would also explain why they were able to survive the extinction of the prior universe and subsequent rebirth, and exist across all of the multiple universes within the multiverse that contains the 616 universe.

Another possibility is that they are creations of multi-Eternity, not the single-universe Eternity.
