The graphics in that pic look THAT good, so I couldn't really tell.
Also, there are stages in DOA games that have just Dead or Alive written somewhere, so, yeah.

That pic has jaggies not to mention the number of polygons in DOAX2 greatly exceeds that of DOAX and you get to do new stuff in DOAX2 like ride a water motorbike or whatever it's called.
