season is finished, new rules for next season:
1) The teamleader can no longer change the course of the game (so Schumacher has to let Barrichello pass without teamorders 😉 )
2) Qualificationtraining: Only one car at a time on the track. The teams can not deceided anymore when they go ontrack
3) The first EIGH drivers get points, winner gets 10 points, the second one get 8 points, then 6, 5, 4, 3,2, 1
4) There will be TWO qualifications instead of one
5) Every team will be obligated to use two different sets of tires: for dry and wet weather. Every GP, a team can only use ONE set of raintires
Some new rules raise my eyebrows... F1 is about cars, speed an teamorders, they will continue to use teamorders eventhough you forbid it. And deceiding when everyone can go on is stupid!
easy, Belgium is stupid enough to get the anti-tobacco law operative THIS year! How stupid can you get???
All European countries have accepted this law and will enforce it in 2006; Belgium wanted to be the prime example (or stupid example in this case) and activated the law for January 1, 2003. Five big Formula One teams (think Ferrari, think Bar, think ...) have tobacco sponors. So they don't agree, and when int's not unanimous the track gets off the charts. The whole law is stupid, since tobacco ads are not proven that they will encourage people to smoke. I have seen lots of ads, and I haven't start smoking. I know a lot of others who saw the same ads, and haven't started either!
So this means... after a fun 5 years of visiting, no more GP in Belgium for me 🙁 And I just wanted another picture of the GP goodness! (see page one of this thread for that)
The only solution now is going to Germany to watch it there, but with all respect UBH, I don't like Germany, nor their inhabitants
