I'm a Merlot-man myself, but I prefer the Chilean varietal. All that Napa Valley shit is just plonk dressed-up as Batman, when really it's all Robin.

I concur with the Chilean wine, and I immensley dislike French Wines....must be the psychology of it, or it could just be the taste.

They're also generally over-priced, so to get a good bottle you must pay more than a bottle of equivalent quality from a different country. At least that's the case for the bottles France exports...
