RIP James Brown

cry

James Brown, the dynamic, pompadoured "Godfather of Soul," whose rasping vocals and revolutionary rhythms made him a founder of rap, funk and disco as well, died early Monday, his agent said. He was 73.

Brown was hospitalized with pneumonia at Emory Crawford Long Hospital on Sunday and died around 1:45 a.m. Monday

I'm extremely shocked when I heard about this a several hours ago. I'm not particularly a fan of his music but he has definitely influences heaps of musicians and has influence music in general. For that I give him respect.

R.I.P James Brown.

I just read it on the news as well. Another icon gone....

Rest in peace James!

R.I.P James Brown.

Weird how I said "It's a travesty Robbie Williams lives and that a great musician will die before him.".

Yeah, kinda strange AC...or should I say BELZEBUB?

Anyways, I am not very familiar with his music, but he just seemed like a good musician.

Rest in Pieces.

That man seemed damn near invincible. RIP, indeed. I already tossed "Sex Machine Pt. 1" on my ProjectPlaylist.

L.A Style knew about this 15 years ago.

I know what you mean. It doesn't seem like he could die, or was going to.

Never liked him that much, but I respect his place in the music history.
