marvel zeus needing ares help is not what you think. did you even read the story. the olympians are considered gods of light except for ares and mabe pluto. zeus only needed ares help because ares is willing to do anything to win the battle even if it means sending half the person soul to the afterlife while allowing the other to burn which means that person will never rest for all eternity. Marvel zeus is very powerful controling mystic energy to a level that is almost infinite plus his power as an elemental making him one of the most powerful being to ever walk on earth. plus Zeus and Odin are usually used as a source to compare other marvel skyfathers level. That been said does not change the fact that DC Zeus maybe more powerful than his marvel counterpart after all he is a member of the quintessence a group that include the Phantom stranger who is a closed of both the spectre and the word and at his fullest potential he possessed the power to literally solved any problem
