A lil WWHulk info tease for you

If you thought Civil War was tough on Earth's heroes, you haven't seen anything yet! Come May 2007, one of the biggest, baddest threats ever to step foot on Earth returns—and he's not happy. Fresh from his interstellar space odyssey in "Planet Hulk, " the Jade Giant makes his way back to Earth for "World War Hulk" and we've got the first peek look at art from "WWH."

Tricked into heading off-world by the Illuminati in Incredible Hulk #88-#91, Hulk was duped into exile and sent away for the safety of humanity. Landing on the planet Sakaar, Hulk found himself first as a slave, then a gladiator and now a rebel fighting to free the planet from under an oppressive ruler. But whatever path lies ahead for Hulk, his immenent return home brings grave danger for Earth as he's stronger and madder than he's ever been before! While the main events of this story will unfold within the five-issue World War Hulk mini-series by Greg Pak and John Romita Jr., there'll be plenty of action in Incredible Hulk as it ties directly into the blockbuster event. Hulk scribe Pak says, "When the World War Hulk miniseries begins in May 2007, the pages of the ongoing Incredible Hulk series will set up certain elements of World War Hulk and show how the events of WWH tear through the lives of the Hulk and his friends."

As if all hoopla surrounding the Hulk isn't Earth-shattering enough, artist extraordinaire Gary Frank (Supreme Power) takes over penciling duties on Incredible with issue #106. Of Frank's arrival on the book, Pak says, "Gary Frank is a living legend--I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with him. He did an amazing job with the 'Planet Cho' Civil War tie-in story in Incredible Hulk #100 and is knocking the ball out of the park with the guest artist pages he's doing for Incredible Hulk #101 as well. I can't wait to see what he does with the book when he takes over with #106. Just one small hint--the 'Planet Cho' backup story in Incredible Hulk #100 sets up some of the dynamics we'll explore in Incredible Hulk #106-#108." One more hint, maybe? "Also, Incredible Hulk #108 is where the aftermath of World War Hulk will play out--with huge ramifications for the future of our hero and everyone around him."
nothing most of us probly didnt know but for the rest to dabble n catch up.

Saw that a long time ago (over a month I think). Posted that picture in the Hulk Respect thread. Looks like a good series. Cant wait till he beats them all! Puny Clone Thor aint got nothing on Hulkey!

According to this interview:

World of War Hulk: X-Men is a 3 part story....involving all the X-Men teams.(Most probably just the 3 main teams give or take a few New X-Men)

Oh and if Xavier survives then we'll have one pissed off Hulk...Emma may leave...if Xavier's back...

Why would Hulk be pissed off at the X-Men? Go after the people that screwed you over.

I can't remember wasn't Xavier present when they tricked him of Earth? He is sort of indirectly responsible by being associated with the Illuminati.
But yeah....he should attack the ones who did it to him first....start with BB on the moon, then come to Earth and finish off the rest.

I'm staying away for WWHulk...I know it's just going to be a wankfest for Hulk. But good art, none-the-less.

Why not? Anything's a good reason to hate those filthy mutie bastards.

😉

Another big a$$ event. After Cw they should give us a few months to catch up our breaths or at the very least let our wallets recover a bit.

well, Marvel did lose tons of money because of that first Hulk movie....

man that thing bombed 😘

Oh I hope he trashes Wolverine something fierce, and he kills Colossus.

That would make me laugh so hard.

The Hulk most likely wants to rip X in apart so the xmen have to get involved, Hulk vs xmen should be pretty good... For the Hulk. 😈

I still think it has the best cinematography of any Marvel movie yet

The splash page design worked for me 🙂

I don't see how Hulk is going to rock all of Marvel earth. Even if he is really, really, really, really pissed he's still just a brick. Albeit an insanely strong one.

that would be worth the price of the mini all by its lonesome . . . 😄

This version of the Hulk is more of a gladiator. He has learned a lot of strategy and got more powerful than before. He is a threath now more so than before and if he brings his new allies even more so.

Read the Crossroads Saga or his fights in the Dark Dimension. He has the potential to surpass the top tier hero if he's pissed off enough. It's not just strength that rises. His entire physiology improves, making him faster, stronger, more durable, quicker healing, etc.

That, and Comics don't go by CBR rules.

If he brings people with him then I guess that's different. I was just thinking a suped up Hulk vs. the entire Marvel earth was a little crazy.

Well there's no way he could take them all at once, but I think it may be him trying to conquer the planet piece by piece.

He had killed them all in the original Maestro mini and had a trophy cabinet to prove it. The people of the future came back to get his former self to stop him. He had the surfers board brken, Thors hammer etc and the plot and the people of the future backed the Maestros story. O.K. he had been amped by the Gamma radiation but it still makes the final ending of Banner Hulk killing him foolish.
