Thanos just never felt like he was worthy...but besides that he was fine....and all Galactus wants in life is for people to not hate/fear him

The IG shrinks and grows too fit your hand.

It's the real one-size-fits-all.

It wouldnt make him any more powerful than Thanos was as the IG like Galactus taps into the forces of the universe and the universe is a closed system.

He could probably rid of The Hunger.

He nabbed it during Thanos' mini written by Starlin.
