well, I don't know where exactly this belongs, but it's about Rick McCallum so I posted it here...

He's producer of the PT, and OT😖E, but did he had a role in the OT?
not meaning like a character of course

By the Special Editions, yes.

But the closest Rick equivalent in the OT was Gary Kurtz, one of the architects of the triumph of ESB but sadly let go by ROTJ.

It's Gary who let slip what the original plans for the prequel and sequel trilogies were.

They say GL lost something important when Kurtz went because he would stand up to him. Rick is a bit of a 'yes' man.
