rasengan vs. chidori (one-thousand birds)

Gaara hadn't been defeated, his transformation had just been stopped. He could have let Shukaku free and killed Sawsgay if he wanted to, but didn't feel the need to until Naruto whooped his ass. Rasengan is more powerful because it is more effective. The Chidori is only dngerous if it hits you in a vital area, otherwise it's no more dangerous than a kunai. It basically is nothing more than an electrified kunai. The Rasengan will wipe you out no matter where it hits you. And you will be finished completely as far as that fight is concerned. The Chidori is only superior in cutting power. It is inferior is AOE and practicality.

anywhere from the waist up is a vital point on the human body. Exemt for appendages like the the arm/shoulder area. An electrified kunai. kunai dont impale there enemies. chidori/Raikiri impale their enemies. Unless you have regen like the demon fox or kabuto you are going to die. Just like rasengan unless you have regen you are going to die.

Garra was on his knees the fight was over. He had no chakra left if they continued to fight sasuke would have won. Eve if the sand protects on its own sasuke got through it before he can do it again.

how r u gonna say its no more dangerous than a kunai?!?! that doesnt make sense and if the rasengan was stronger it would not hav been a even match at the valley of the end but as u saw it was a draw..... and SASUKE was the 1 standing at the end.

What would be really awesome would be if there was a way to adjust the chakra levels and natures just enough where the rasengan and chidori could be merged into one single attack.

I strongly dislike Sasuke, but there is no arguing that he is not powerful. He and Naruto are basically even matched. He was top 3 in the chunin exams, he wrecked an Akutski member solo, caused a kage to lose a hand, and held his own against the bads at the end. He has several hax abilities that put him well above everyone save for naruto at this point.

Also, Rasengan was implied to be greater than chidori initially. it takes less chakra to sustain as well iirc. But as is the case with these two, by the end their techs equal out for the most part.
