Fool, you don't know how lucky you are, it's been snowing for weeks over here!
Whoa, haha. Californians are pampered when it comes to weather. We drive miles and miles to get to snow, then complain when we're there, fml.

Well, 2010 has been shit for me. I do still play, though one of my bandmembers died last week, so it's not going that great in that department.
Sounds bleak, quite the drag can be picked up though, I wish you the best of luck to bounce back, man. People used to think I was heartless when I used to keep options open for me when we did the band thing to replace anyone on-hand, but shit happens at times, it's better to be prepared than get caught with your pants down. Think if I'd be nearby, I'd lend a hoof.

Well, you are right, I've already spoken with the other guitarist in the band and we do plan to continue, just not right this moment. Probably in two or three months. Thanks though.
How've you been?

Been pretty good, I work as a photographer now and the holidays are keeping me busy with so much work, which is welcomed, but people sure love to b*tch and moan, heh.

I see, that sounds nice. Except for people bitching of course, but there's no pleasing some people, I have experienced as well. Have you still been making music? Is Kayakat coming over for Christmas?
It's true, haha, but I try. We still have jam sessions here and there. Every once in awhile we call eachother (old bandmates) and share ideas as well as share recordings from our phones of stuff we sing/play/arrange and all that. lately we've been feeling quite Ska-ish, so there's potential for something to start there, but we're so overly busy that I don't see the guys and gals for months on end due to work and living so far away. Kaya couldn't be here for Xmas, though she just did visit in late November. Hopefully she will be able to come back in March, the summer and next winter, then after that, we marry hopefully in April of next year, 2012.

Sounds good, shame that you guys can't play any shows then. We'd been making some proggy stuff, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson and Tool inspired music. We were on the right track, we were playing a lot of gigs and we're actually in the midst of finding a studio we could rent to record an EP.
I didn't even know you and Kaya were engaged yet! Is she moving to the US? Quite funny actually, the girl who has lived next to me for years left for Oklahoma yesterday to get married and live there.

That's just rad, I love the proggy noise. If there's talent, there'll be other opportunities.
Oh, haha, it's been a long time then. We've been engaged for a small while, and she hopefully plans to move here when we tie the knot. We have our very own house already built for us payed up and built to our liking, so we're ready.

Well, it's the sum of our influences I guess. I do hope our drummer decides to stay with the band, because we probably won't find a better one for this kind of music around these parts.
It has been a rather long time. Sounds great, especially that it's payed off already.

Yeah, man. Let Mr. Drums know how important he is, haha, often times a soaring ego is enough to keep anyone in a band for years.
Thanks, it feels nice to have something b fully yours.

That does sound cold. Kaya tells me how her country had Siberian weather recently. Sounds like it's cold everywhere.
